Returns and Refunds Policy

Melissa's Florist & Gifts handles returns and refunds in accordance with Australian Consumer Protection legislation.


Flower Longevity

Under normal conditions, fresh flowers typically last between 3 to 7 days, with some varieties exceeding 7 days when properly cared for.


Care Instructions

To extend the life of your flowers, please follow these care instructions:

  1. Cut the stems at a sharp angle.
  2. Change the water in the vase every two days.
  3. Keep flowers out of direct sunlight.
  4. Keep flowers in a cool room, away from sun, heating and air-conditioning.


Quality Assurance

If you follow these care guidelines and your flowers do not last at least 3 days from the date of purchase, please contact Melissa's Florist & Gifts within this timeframe.


We may request original photographs of the flowers and require the return of the original product for assessment. If we confirm that the flowers were properly cared for, we will offer a replacement. However, we cannot provide replacements if the original flowers have been discarded or if requested images are not provided.


Please note that after the flowers have been dispatched, returns for change of mind are not accepted. Our policy lasts for 72 hours. Please inform us within 72 hours.

 

Product Information

Many of the products available on our website are perishable and natural, meaning their lifespan varies depending on the species, environment and provided care.


Since we work with organic materials, seasonal flowers may be substituted with similar flowers and colours. As a result, not all arrangements will look exactly like the images displayed on our website. By purchasing from us, you acknowledge that differences may exist between product photos and the final arrangement.

 

Additional Information

Concerns raised after 72 hours will be considered on a case-by-case basis, but we reserve the right to decline refunds or replacements beyond this period.


Once approved, refunds typically take 24 to 72 hours to process and will be issued to the original payment method.
